Author Guidelines

  1. Early childhood research journal (ECRJ receiving scientific article writing in the field of pure science and applied early childhood education including learning and teaching innovative and creative at early childhood education, early detection of early child development, early childhood study of ABK and nutrition and the health of readers who have never been published in other print media.
  2. The substance of the article can be articles of research, review or critical scientific study and comprehensive on the important and current issues related to early childhood covered in the journaling.
  3. Manuscript typed on A4 paper with margin: top 4 cm, left 4 cm, right 3 cm, and bottom 3 cm. The script is typed with 1.5 spaces with maximum script length of 10 pages A4 with two collumns format with width: 6.5 cm and spacing: 0.99 cm.
  4. The title of the English article is written with specific and effective no more than 10 words. The title of the article should be informative, specific, concise, and contain keywords that describe the contents of the manuscript in its entirety. Manuscripts may be submitted directly to the registers as Author in OJS's website
  5. The author of the article is written with Times New Roman 10 pt and Bold with underline without title and should not be abbreviated. If the author is more than one, then given a super script number which later shows the author's origin institution (if the author comes from different agencies).
  6. Name of agency, address, and zip code written sequence starting from first author with Times New Roman 10 and spaces 1.
  7. Email correspondence is filled with an active author's correspondence email address.
  8. Abstract is written in English. Abstract consists of 1 paragraph maximum 200 words. Abstract is not in the form of a summary consisting of several paragraphs but consists of only 1 paragraph that explicitly, intactly and completely describes the essence of the whole contents of the writing covering the background (main issues), research objectives, methods / research approaches, research results, and conclusions.
  9. Keywords consist of a maximum of 5 words, separated by commas and English.
  10. The contents of the research results are written according to the following systematics: (1) Introduction: contains the background of the problem and objectives of the study, the literature review relevant to the problems studied (15-20% of the total length of the article); (2) Research Method: contains expositions in the form of paragraphs containing time and place of research, design, research materials / subjects, procedures / techniques of data collection, instruments, and data analysis techniques (10-15% of total article length); (3) Results and Discussion: contains the results of the analysis which is the answer to the question / problem of research while the discussion emphasizes the relationship between the interpretation of the results with the theory used; and (4) Conclusions, suggestions, and recommendations: presented in the form of paragraphs of research findings which are the answers to the problem formulation.
  11. The bibliography contains the sources used as references in the study. Referral sources of at least 80% of the literature published in the last 10 years. References used are primary sources of articles that exist in scientific journals or research reports (thesis, thesis, dissertation). The bibliography is written alphabetically with Times New Roman 12 font, space 1, special identation hanging by 0.25 "after 12 pt. The rules of writing the bibliography follow the rules of APA (American Phsycological Association)

 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
 

Copyright Notice

Submitted papers are evaluated by anonymous referees for contribution, originality, relevance, and presentation. The Editor shall inform you of the results of the review as soon as possible, hopefully in 6 weeks.
