Focus and Scope

Journal of Profesi Pendidikan Dasar is a scientific research publication issued by Primary Education Department of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, aimed as media of information, communication and discussion forum of education and teaching from primary education field. 

This journal encompasses original research articles and review articles including: 

  1. instruction of primary education (natural science, social science, mathematics, languages, civics, religion, physical education, and arts),
  2. curriculum of primary education,
  3. management of primary education,
  4. guidance and counseling of primary education,
  5. psychology of primary education as well as primary school teacher education.

This journal is an open access published twice per year/volume and contains research result that never published.

Peer Review Process

The articles published by Jurnal Profesi Pendidikan Dasar has been peer reviewed by a minimum of two reviewers per article.  Decision whether the articles are accepted for publication is determined by the editor based on comments by reviewers.


Publication Frequency

Jurnal Profesi Pendidikan Dasar publish twice a year, in July and Desember



Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.



This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
