Author Guidelines
AUTHOR GUIDELINES
Profetika: Jurnal Studi Islam accepts manuscripts for publication of research results and original thoughts on Islam in English, Arabic or Indonesian, provided that the manuscripts have not been submitted or published by other publications. Manuscripts sent to the Journal of Profession must be accompanied by a statement of the authenticity of the manuscript. Manuscripts are sent through the OJS system or in softcopy or can also be sent via E-mail address: profetika@ums.ac.id. Confirmation and submission of manuscripts can be addressed below:

Submission of manuscripts must be accompanied by an official letter from the author by attaching complete biodata with the author's name, mailing address, telephone number, cellphone, and email address.
WRITING FORMAT
1. Articles are written in Indonesian, English, or Arabic in the field of Islamic studies.
2. Writing Systematics
The systematics of the research results are:

Abstract (250-300 words) in English and Indonesian. Keywords or keywords 3-5 words/phrases.
INTRODUCTION
(containing the background of the problem, problem formulation, research objectives, literature review, and theoretical framework, which are included in paragraphs, not in the form of sub-chapters).
RESEARCH METHODS
(contains the type of research, approach, population and sample, research object, data collection techniques, data sources, and data analysis methods used)

3. References or sources of citations are written below (footnotes) in the following order: author's name, book title, city of publication, publisher, year of publication, and pages cited.

4. Writing the bibliography following the name and year system (Harvard System) sorted alphabetically, in order: last author's name, first name, middle name (without academic degree), year of publication, title (including subtitle), city of publication, and name publisher.

5. Manuscripts are sent no later than two months before the month of publication, namely:
1) June
2) December
6. Manuscripts sent to the editorial board will then be selected through an editing session. Manuscripts that are eligible to be published in the Journal of Profession based on the evaluation of the editorial board will be sent to Mitra Bestari (Reviewer) who has expertise per the theme of the manuscript for correction. Manuscripts that require revision will be returned to the author for correction. After correction, the manuscript is sent back to the editorial board. Manuscripts that do not qualify for publication will be notified to the author, and manuscripts will not be returned, except at the request of the author.
