Pemanfaatan Tumbuhan Obat untuk Mengobati Penyakit Infeksi pada Masyarakat Dayak Tomun di Desa Lopus Lamandau Kalimantan Tengah

Abstract

Penyakit infeksi merupakan penyakit disebabkan oleh organisme yang biasanya diderita oleh seluruh kalangan masyarakat. Pengobatan penyakit fisik dapat dilakukan dengan mengunakan pengobatan tradisional berupa ramuan tumbuhan obat. Masyarakat Dayak Tomun salah satu masyarakat tradisional yang tinggal di seluruh kawasan Lamandau Kalimantan Tengah yang sering menderita gangguan kesehatan berupa penyakit infeksi. Masyarakat Dayak Tomun memiliki pengetahuan lokal mengenai pemanfaatan tumbuhan-tumbuhan obat untuk ramuan obat penyakit infeksi yang harus dilestarikan dan dokumentasikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pemanfaatan tumbuhan obat dalam mengobati penyakit infeksi pada masyarakat Dayak Tomun di Desa Lopus Lamandau. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode wawancara semi terstruktur dan eksplorasi parsitipatif kepada enam informan kunci yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh 18 jenis tumbuhan obat terdiri dari 13 famili digunakan dalam mengobati penyakit 9 jenis penyakit. Sebanyak 3 jenis tumbuhan yang banyak digunakan pengobatan penyakit infeksi yaitu Eurycoma longifolia Jack,  Achasma coccineum (Blume) Valeton dan Tinospora crispa (L.) Hook. F & Th.. Penyakit infeksi yang banyak diobati menggunakan tumbuhan obat yaitu diare/mmebocor (32%). Ramuan tubuhan obat penyakit infeksi oleh masyarakat Dayak Tomun banyak  diramu dari daun (39%), dengan teknik direbus (52%) dan penyajiannya diminum (75%). Pengetahuan lokal pemanfaatan tumbuhan mengobati peyakit infeksi harus diaplikasikan secara terus-menerus dan dijaga kelestariannya agar tidak punah.
