Pembangunan Rumah Simpan dan Bilas Pestisida Di Desa Demangan, Kecamatan Siman, Kabupaten Ponorogo Sebagai Upaya Menuju Desa Safety Farming

Abstract

Petani Desa Demangan, Siman, Ponorogo melakukan kegiatan pertanian padi, kedelai, jagung dan hortikultura menggunakan pestisida anorganik dengan penatalaksanaan yang tidak aman dan sehat sehingga mengakibatkan kontaminasi pestisida dalam darah petani. Oleh karena itu dilaksanakan kegiatan sosialisasi dan pelatihan tentang penatalaksanaan pestisida yang aman dan sehat yang berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan petani, namun belum pada tataran praktek. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk menyediakan fasilitas berupa pembangunan rumah simpan dan bilas pestisida dalam rangka menuju desa safety farming di Desa Demangan. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode FGD, pendampingan dan evaluasi dengan hasil tingginya antusias mitra (Gapoktan Demang Jaya dan Pos UKK Demang Jaya Sehat) dengan kesediaan dana swadaya. Selain itu, pembangunan rumah simpan dan bilas pestisida pada 3 titik berada di lahan bengkok desa. Rumah simpan dan bilas pestisida dilengkapi dengan pesticide box, APD, kotak P3K, APAR, poster dan leaflet. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa perlu mengadakan APD berupa sepatu boot karet yang ringan. Perlu adanya upaya monitoring secara kolaboratif oleh Pos UKK Demang Jaya Sehat, Gapoktan Demang Jaya, Tim Pengabdian dan Puskesmas Siman Kabupaten Ponorogo demi keberlanjutan Desa Safety Farming di Desa Demangan, Siman, Ponorogo.
