REPRESENTASI IRONI DAN KELAKAR SERIAL ANIMASI TEKOTOK DALAM EPISODE “PERTAMA KALI LAMAR KERJA” DAN “DUTA SEGALANYA” (KAJIAN SOSIOPRAGMATIK)

Abstract
Communication is important for the language community. Language in general requires certain principles. This principle in language is contained in sociopragmatic studies. One of them is the principle of irony and humor. This study aims to identify the principles of irony and humor in the Tekotok Animation series in the episode “Pertama Kali Lamar Kerja”. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with content analysis method. The strategy used is flow analysis. The data used is primary data that comes from the Tekotok animation. The result of this research is that verbal irony consists of three kinds, namely suggesting which means condescending, giving spirit which means reproach, irony which turns into cynicism, and indifference which means condescending. The irony of the situation that occurred in this episode is closely related to the practice of nepotism in Indonesia. The jokes in this animation function as humor to represent the closeness to the audience that can be represented in the social conditions that are currently happening in Indonesia. Tekotok animation in the episode “Ambassador Everything” has a verbal irony that has the meaning of hiding and making humor, the irony of the situation in this episode is shown when police officers do not lock up TV artists, idol singers and influencers, but people who are not famous with non-fatal mistakes immediately imprisoned. The jokes shown in the episode “Duta Segalanya” show a form of annoyance, closeness, and humorous.
