Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of online learning through online media. Describe the learning innovations provided during the implementation of distance learning. Knowing what kind of problems had been faced by students when participating in online learning in Indonesian language lessons at MTs 1 Negeri Surakarta. This study uses a quantitative approach, with student data sources. Data collection is done through observation techniques, namely by spreading the google form link that has been provided. The results of the study indicate that learning that is carried out using online media is less effective. Students are required to be independent to be able to find all information related to learning materials. So that teachers and prospective teachers are required to be creative in order to create fun learning, for example, such as taking quizzes given by the teacher to test the level of students' understanding of Indonesian language subjects and provide a sense so that students are not bored with monotonous learning.
