PERAN METODE PENUGASAN DAN PERAN ORANG TUA TERHADAP MOTIVASI BELAJAR SISWA

Abstract

The teacher's role is not always the center of learning, but parents also have an equally important role in the process of mentoring children's learning. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with research instruments using the instruments used by Hero & Sni in 2018 and literature review of previous research. The results showed that the role of parents was still not maximized where the average role of parents reached 60.75%. Various problems that indicate the role of parents are less motivating students are environmental conditions that are less conducive, lack of time for students, less control over learning time. Meanwhile, in motivating the actions of parents, what should be done such as giving awards, providing supporting tools, and helping with assignments. The role of the assignment model also has a positive impact on student learning motivation which is known through student learning outcomes. Therefore, parents should provide motivation to students so that learning motivation is better.
