The Suhuf Journal publishes quality and in-depth analysis on current issues within Islamic Economic and Finance, Islamic Education, Qur'an and Sunnah Studies. 

Islamic Economic and Finance: Fundamentals, trends and opportunities in Islamic Finance, Islamic banking and financial markets, Risk management, Islamic social finance, Financial planning, and Legal and regulatory issues. 

Islamic Education: Pedagogy, Educational technology, Student learning, Education policy, Teacher education. 

Qur'an and Sunnah Studies cover the studies of Qur'an, tafsir and hadith in the Muslim World and in the Western countries.

Peer Review Process

Each submission is checked by the editor. At this stage, they may choose to decline or unsubmit your manuscript if it doesn’t fit the journal aims and scope, or they feel the language/manuscript quality is too low.

If they think it might be suitable for the publication, they will send it to at least two independent referees for double anonymous peer review. Once these reviewers have provided their feedback, the editor may decide to accept your manuscript, request minor or major revisions, or decline your work.

Publication Frequency

SUHUF follows a semiannual publication schedule, with two issues released per year.

1. Frequency of Publication: a. SUHUF publishes articles and issues twice a year. b. The publication schedule consists of two main issues released annually

2. Issue Release Dates: a. Issue 1: The first issue of the year is scheduled to be released in May. b. Issue 2: The second issue of the year is scheduled to be released in November.

3. Online Publication: a. SUHUF is an online journal, and all published articles are available on the SUHUF website. b. Upon publication, articles will be assigned a digital identifier (DOI) to ensure proper citation and permanent access.

4. Special Issues and Supplements: a. SUHUF may occasionally publish special issues or supplements on specific themes or topics of interest. b. The release dates and submission deadlines for special issues or supplements will be communicated separately through calls for papers or announcements on the SUHUF website.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

This journal is open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or institutions.
