Changes in Author Fees

Our journal is still financially sponsored by Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta. We have been trying to reduce costs, but unfortunately, due to the rising costs of managing the journal. We have to change our policies regarding Author Fees.

A one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) is paid by authors to cover the costs of peer review administration and management, professional production of articles in PDF and other formats, and dissemination of published papers to various venues, in addition to other publishing functions. There are no charges for rejected articles, submission fees, or surcharges based on an article's length, figures, or additional data. Some articles (Editorials, Corrections, Addendums, Retractions, Comments, etc.) are published at no cost.

Currently, there are discounts for international submissions and manuscripts co-authored by authors from outside of Indonesia.

Please note that these changes will become effective for submissions accepted for issues published in 2023 and beyond.

Profesi Pendidikan Dasar is now a SINTA 2 journal

The editorial board of Profesi Pendidikan Dasar is pleased to announce that the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology has accredited our journal to SINTA 2 status.

We want to extend our most profound appreciation to the current and former editorial team, current and former reviewers, authors and our loyal readers who have helped PPD reach this new level. We hope that by achieving the SINTA 2 rank, PPD will be able to increase its contribution to the academic and research development of primary/elementary education and contribute to the general improvement of the quality of Indonesian academic publications.

Sincerely,
PPD Editorial Team
