Author Guidelines

Jurnal Penelitian Humaniora welcomes article in humanities studies and the submissions should be in accordance with the following guidelines:

  1. Articles have not been published or accepted for any publication elsewhere. In addition to the manuscript, a written statement should be attached which clarifies that the article is original and does not contain any elements of plagiarism.
  2. Types of articles suitable for publication include the following; research reports (field & archives) and theory applications.
  3. Articles are written in English using academic language along with standard academic writing structure and composition. Manuscripts are typed 1 spaced in a quarto paper size (A4), between 5000-8000 words in length (excluding references, pictures, and tables).
  4. Article should be in form of essay which includes:
    • title (maximum 12 words),
    • author's name (without academic degree) with an e-mail address, institution's name, and active phone number.
    • abstract (150-200) which includes research problems, methods and results.
    • key words in English (3-5 words),
    • introduction (without subsection) which includes background, state of the art (research gap), and objectives. The introduction section ends with an emphasis on items to be discussed,
    • research methods
    • result
    • discussion,
    • conclusion, and
    • references (at least 15 sources, 10 of them are from current journals).
  5. Reference list format is based on APA (American Psychological Association) style, 7th edition. It is recommended to use Mendeley Reference Management. Reference list should appear at the end of the article and includes only literatures actually cited in the manuscripts. References are ordered alphabetically and chronologically. When writing a reference list, please use the following conventions:

  1. To submit an article, please register. Fill the password by yourself. Then click 'user home' and click 'new submission' at the end of author.
  2. Articles should be submitted online in soft files using Microsoft Word application (2019 or 365).
  3. Authors will be sent notifications of the receipt of manuscripts and editorial decisions (whether the articles are accepted or not) by e-mail. Manuscripts that are not published will not be returned to the authors.

Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.

Article Publication: 0.00 (IDR)
If a paper is accepted, authors will not be asked to pay any charge for publication.
