Author Guidelines
AUTHORS RESPONSIBILITY
Before submission, the author should consider that the manuscript is in the following condition:
1. The manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not considered for publication elsewhere. The author(s) should submit the cover letter simultaneously with the manuscript to declare the originality.
2. The author has to make sure that the manuscript has been prepared using the Jurnal Varidika template following the author guidelines and not a single author
3. The single author's paper is just for the invited author or the author with an excellent reputation for research or mathematics education.
4. The manuscript should also have been carefully proofread (the proofreading certificate may be required based on the language editor evaluation).
5. Any manuscript which does not meet the author guidelines, focus, and scope, is written in a different format, or has poor soundness of English, will be immediately rejected.
GUIDELINE WRITING ARTICLE
- The article is research output in education subject.
- The article is written in English within word format (doc/RTF) consists of 10 - 15 pages and follows the rules of academic writing and standard grammar (See template)
- The paper format should follow the IMRaD (Introduction, Method, Result, and Discussion)
- The substance should follow the rules below:
- Title ( is written with a capital, on the top center on the first page; concise and to the point; maximal 15 words, avoid using words “ analysis”, ”study”, ”effect”
- The author’s name ( without academic title) should be accompanied by the author's institutions and email account. For a joint paper, one of the authors should be identified as the corresponding author.
- The abstract is in English (200-300 words). This should provide clear and accurate information and contains background, gap analysis, objectives, methods, results or findings, the conclusion of the research, and the contribution of the findings to the current knowledge.
- Keywords consist of 3-5 words/phrases, arranged appropriately with the alphabet.
- Introduction (without subtitle) consists of background, research gap, the importance of the study, and research objectives (without numbering)
- The method consists of the type of the study, the used method, the subject of the study, the data collecting technique including the instruments and how it was validated, and the data analysis technique
- Result and discussion where this should be separated with the section of result which presents only the result with no personal opinion about the presented analyzed data. While the section of the discussion is used to discuss the presented data, compare the data with previous studies, show the limitation of the study, and present the significance of the findings
- Conclusion and suggestions are just used to answer the research objective. While the suggestion is used to give the projection of further study related to the research findings
- Acknowledgment (if applicable) is used to give credit to institutions, organizations, or people who support the study in the form of funding support or any other type of support
- The bibliography contains at least 20 references with 80% of them from reputable international journals. In addition, at least five of the references must have been published in the last three years. References to textbooks should be minimized (<20%). The bibliography is written using APA style format 7th edition. The authors should also use reference manager software such as Mendeley to arrange the bibliography. All articles and online references must include the DOI or URL.

Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission file is in Microsoft Word or RTF document file format.
Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Fees
This journal charges the following author fees.
Article Publication Charge: 500000.00 (IDR)
Starting from Vol 36 No 1, Jurnal Varidika will charge the authors for Article Processing Charge (APC) as much as IDR 500,000.
A one-time Article Processing Charge (APC) is paid by authors to cover the costs of peer review administration and management, professional production of articles in PDF and other formats, and dissemination of published papers to various venues, in addition to other publishing functions. There are no charges for rejected articles, submission fees, or surcharges based on an article's length, figures, or additional data. Some articles (Editorials, Corrections, Addendums, Retractions, Comments, etc.) are published at no cost.
