Author Guidelines
To ensure author and domain diversity, starting in January 2020, a researcher is limited to co-publish at most two articles per year.
AUTHORS RESPONSIBILITY
Before submission, the author should consider that the manuscript is in the following condition:
1. The manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The author(s) should submit the cover letter simultaneously with the manuscript to declare the originality.
2. The author has to make sure that the manuscript has been prepared using the JRAMathEdu template following the author guidelines and not a single author
3. The single author's paper is just for the invited author or the author who has a great reputation for research or publication in mathematics education.
4. The manuscript should also have been carefully proofread (the proofreading certificate may be required based on the language editor evaluation).
5. Any manuscript which does not meet the author guidelines, focus and scope, written in a different format, or has poor soundness of English, will be immediately rejected.
LAYOUT MANUSCRIPT
Journal of Research and Advances in Mathematics Education (JRAMathEdu)
- The manuscript is written in English and follows the rules of academic writing and standard grammar.
- The prescribed length of the manuscript is between 10 – 15 pages. For typeface, use Cambria, 12 points.
- The title should describe the contents of the manuscript, with a maximum of 15 words.
- Author's name should be accompanied by the author's institutions and email account, without academic title. For a joint paper, one of the authors should be identified as the corresponding author.
- The abstract should be written in 200-250 words. It should provide clear and accurate information, and contains background, gap analysis, objectives, methods, results or findings, and the conclusion of the research. Keywords consisting of 3-5 words should accompany the abstract.
- Include an acknowledgements if parties have made significant contribution in funding and/or provided support to the research.
- Bibliography contains at least 20 references with 80% of them from reputable international journals. In addition, at least five of the references must have been published in the last three years. References to textbooks should be minimized (<20%). Bibliography is written using APA style format 6th edition. The authors should also use reference manager softwares such as Mendeley to arrange the bibliography. All articles and online references must include the DOI or URL.
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
- If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

- Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
- Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
- Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
Author Fees
This journal charges the following author fees.
Article Submission: 0.00 (USD)
Authors are not required to pay an Article Submission Fee as part of the submission process to contribute to review costs.
Article Publication: 75.00 (USD)
The journal charges the article publication fee for supporting the cost of wide-open access dissemination of research results, managing the various costs associated with handling and editing of the submitted manuscripts, and the Journal management and publication in general, the authors or the author's institution is requested to pay a publication fee for each article accepted. If the manuscript is not accepted, the author does not pay any fee and may send the manuscript to any other journals.
Starting in 2020, the journal will waive the article processing charge (APC) for the following condition:
1. The manuscript with authors from at least two countries
2. Authors with h-index Scopus or Wos >=10
3. JRAMathEdu Reviewer will be provided a discount of 25% per review
4. JRAMathEdu Editorial Board for one article in a volume
